Degree in Economics (1982, University of Valencia). PhD and extraordinary PhD award in Financial Economics and Accounting, (1992, University of Valencia). Professor since 2002 in the area of Finance and Accounting at the Universitat Jaume I.

Director of the Official Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility and member of the research group on Sustainability of Organisations and Financial Markets, in which she develops several European and national research projects focused on Sustainable Finance, integration and evaluation of CSR and sustainability in business strategies, sustainable business models, investment and management of investment fund portfolios with sustainable criteria, and sustainability risk assessment in an holistic manner and sustainability rating agencies.

Her research have been published in numerous international and national articles in journals with high academic impact, including Business Ethics, A European Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, Review of Managerial Science, Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of Management & Organization, or Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental management. She has also published several books, book chapters and lectures. She has supervised several PhD theses and Master’s theses on Finance and Sustainability.

The Comisión Nacional Evaluadora de la Actividad Investigadora (CNEAI – ANECA; Ministry of Education and Culture) has awarded her 5 «sexenios de investigación» (1992/1997; 1998/2003; 2004/2009; 2010/2015, 2016/2021).

She is a permanent lecturer on Master’s Degrees and specialisation courses, with more than 30 years of teaching experience; with educational innovation projects. She is the Director of the Official Interuniversity Master’s Degree UJI-UNED «Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility», «Postgraduate Course in Accounting, Finance and Taxation: Training and Advanced Practice«, organised by the UJI, «Financial Management of Non-Profit Organisations» organised by EsF-UJI, the «Specialisation Course in Corporate Social Responsibility» given by the UNED, and the «European Financial Advisor Course – EFPA» offered by the Universitat Jaume I.

She has extensive experience in management roles at the Universitat Jaume I and in the participation of its representative bodies. She has been Director of the Department of Finance and Accounting, and Vice-Rector of Economics, PAS, Social Welfare, and Vice-Rector of Foundations and Social Responsibility, and has been a member of the University’s Senate since its inception, on the Governing Board and on various Commissions. She has more than 10 years of professional experience as an economist in the research service of the Valencia Stock Exchange, and has been a member of the Boards of Directors of private companies, Foundation Board of Trustees and Committees of private companies.

She has been a member of various Boards of Trustees and Boards of Directors, such as Unión de Mutuas, Fundación Universitat Jaume I-Empresa, Fundación Jaume I-Empresa, Fundación General UJI, Espaitec y Ágora S.L, Fundación Caixa-Castelló, was a delegate of the Valencian Government on the Board of Directors of the Port of Castellón and was a member of the Criminal Risk Prevention Commission as an economic-financial expert of Unión de Mutuas.

She is currently a member of the Ethics Committee of Unión de Mutuas, the Board of Directors of the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts of the Valencian Community, the Board of Directors of the Association of Economists of Castellón and the Mixed Committee of the register of socially responsible Valencian entities dependent on the Regional Ministry of Economy of the Valencian Community.
